Colored Ball, Best-Ball Format
The tournament will be a best-ball "Colored Ball" format. This format assigns one colored ball to a foursome. That colored ball rotates from player to player after each hole. On any hole, if a team elects to play from the position of the colored ball on EVERY stroke, they may subtract one stroke from their score for that hole.
If the colored ball is lost, the team has 3 minutes to find it. If not recovered after 3 minutes, the ball is permanently out of play and the team must continue with a non-colored ball, playing out the tournament in normal Best-Ball fashion.
Any team that completes the tournament and has not lost their colored ball, may subtract 9 points from their total score.
